General changes

    Improved the game client's perfomance when putting a lot of supplies into the artefact box is "Search and Destroy" mode.
    New messages in chat stop displaying automatically if you scroll the chat manually. To enable automatic display again, plase scroll the chat down.

Equipment and Supplies

    Introduced new collimators: BelOMO PK-01VI and Eotech XPS2.
    BelOMO PK-01VI laser sight is another new module which can be installed on BelOMO PK-01VI.
    It's now possible to install collimators on M4A1.
    MP-153 "Baikal": damage increased from 125 to 135, armor piercing increased from 15 to 18.
    Benelli M4: damage increased from 125 to 135, armor piercing increased from 15 to 18, slow down when aiming down the sights reduced from 14% to 10%, rate of fire increased from 330 to 350.
    Spas-12: damage increased from 130 to 135, armor piercing increased from 15 to 18.
    Vepr-12: damage increased from 125 to 130, armor piercing increased from 15 to 17.
    Saiga-12: damage increased from 125 to 130, armor piercing increased from 15 to 17, effective distance increased from 22 to 30 meters, recoil reduced by 15%.
    Pancor Jackhammer: damage increased from 125 to 130, armor piercing increased from 15 to 17.
    KS-23 M "Catbird": effective distance reduced from 20 to 17 meters.

    Locations

      Shooting Range now has the mini-map.

Bug Fixes

    Fixed an issue when microphone icon was displayed in the shooting range and training with bots.
    Fixed an issue not allowing entering certain symbols in the name change window (cyrillic "Щ" and latin "O") because game options menu was opened.
    Fixed an issue when module filters were not switching in 2560х1440 resolution.
    Fixed an issue when grenades sometimes did not destroy mines.

The List of Changes in Survarium 0.60a

General changes

    Now you can create modules for details in the workshop. In the modules tab press "Create" next to the module you want. Rarity of the module will be determined randomly.
    Tier 1, 2, 3 premium equipment is now available among rewards in Team Missions.
    Capacity of player's inventory is now limited. If you exceed it, you no longer can buy and receive items until you have enough space in your inventory.
    The limit was added to improve both game client and server performance. The less items you have, the faster lobby loading times are and the load on your PC is also lesser. The less items all players have, the lower the load on the game server and database, which means better gaming experience for everyone.
    Added inventory item counter, which also shows the maximum allowed. At the moment it's 2000 items. Less than 200 players have more than that: we are sorry, but you will have to sell some of the items to be able to receive new ones.
    Brazilian Portuguese localization is now available.

Equipment and Supplies

    Now all supllies (medkits, bandages, sensors, etc) are thrown for a short distance instead of being placed. To throw the supply, press and release the hotkey of the corresponding supply.
    Now supplies are marked in red before they are activated (after they are thrown but before they can be used).
    Scope sway effect increased on all assault rifles and LMGs when using scops with magnification of х3 and above.
    Increased scope sway when receiving damage while your character is holding a sniper rifle or a carbine.
    Energy consumption when holding breath increased by 25%.
    Energy decrease when receiving damage from a supply now depends on the explosion radius of the supply and damage.
    Introduced Vepr-12 "Legend" shotgun. It can be purchased for ranked/seasonal tokens.
    Glock 17: increased recoil.
    APS: increased recoil.
    VSSK: aiming time increased from 0.65 to 0.75 sec.
    ASVK and Barrett M82A1: aiming time increased from 0.8 to 0.9 sec.
    UZI: rate of fire increased from 500 to 600 rounds per minute.
    ASh-12: bullet speed increased from 290 to 500 m/s.
    AK-12: recoil pattern is now more complex.
    Vz-58: recoil pattern is now more complex.
    MSBS Radon: aiming time decreased from 0.35 to 0.3 sec.
    L85A2: aiming time decreased from 0.3 to 0.25 sec.
    FN P90: increased recoil.
    Kriss Vector: recoil reduced.
    KS-23M "Catbird": effective distance increased from 10 to 20 meters.
    KS-23: decreased recoil. Aiming time decreased from 0.35 to 0.3 sec.
    TOZ-34: effective distance decreased from 30 to 25 meters.
    MP-27М "Lancaster": effective distance decreased from 30 to 25 meters.
    MP-153 "Baikal": slow down decreased from 4 to 3%.
    Neostead 2000: slow down decreased from 5 to 3%.
    Spas-12: slow down decreased from 4 to 3%.
    Benelli M4: slow down decreased from 4 to 3%.
    Remington 870: slow down decreased from 4 to 3%.
    Vepr-12: slow down decreased from 4 to 3%.
    Saiga-12: slow down decreased from 4 to 3%.
    Set bonus "Delay decrease before health regeneration starts" reduced by 2, to -25%.
    Set bonus "Scope sway" decreased from -25% to -15%.
    Set bonus "Breath hold time" decreased from +30% to +10%.
    Motherwort extract: bonus from "Scope sway" decreased from -15% to -10%.
    Zubr's set bonus "Stopping power" decreased from -30% to -25%.
    Zubr's set bonus "Stopping power" swapped with "Defense against explosives".
    Bizon's set bonus "Stopping power" decreased from -30% to -25%.
    Bizon's set bonus "Delay decrease before health regeneration starts" reduced from -25% to -20%.
    Bizon's set bonus "Stopping power" swapped with "Delay decrease before health regeneration starts".
    Defense totem: now also decreases bleeding time by 50%.
    New collimators (BelOMO PK-01VI and Eotech XPS2) will be added with an update next week.

Locations

    It's now easier to shoot through/penetrate handrails and railings on all locations.
    The Abandoned Base: it's no longer possible to go through the location bounds. Also, it is now harder to shoot through the main building.
    CNPP Cooling Tower: introduced new variation for the Slaughter mode (the original PTS version with changes based on the community's feedback). Both variations of the locations now have anomalies in Slaughter mode. We also changed 3D models of the big wire coils.

Bug Fixes

    Fixed an issue with ricochets not working.
    Fixed several situations when supplies dropped below the location bounds.
    Fixed an issue when incorrect sounds were played between rounds in Search and Destroy mode.
    Fixed an issue when two anomalies spawned in one spot in Search and Destroy mode.
    Fixed an issue when anomaly sound was still played after respawn if your characted died near or inside an anomaly.
    Fixed an issue when music in the shooting range was played incorrectly.
    Fixed an issue when pressing additional mouse buttons in the lobby counted as pressing LMB.

Read Survarium 0.60 Preview!

Hi everyone! While planning update 0.60, we wanted to introduce long awaited changes and improvements to the game, and also add new content. Of course, we were limited by the time we had: by now it's been 3 months since the release of Survarium 0.59b with a new talent tree, changes to the melee attack and x64 architecture. What did we manage to do in that time?

Crafting Weapon Modules

Since the updated modules system has been introduced, all players had the same problem: you were only guaranteed to get the module you needed if you purchased it with gold. Otherwise you had to rely on chance. We wanted to improve the system for some time now: we had a few ways to solve the problem, but all of those seemed too complex both from the UI perspective and user experience.

Finally we settled on the simplest and most elegant (as we believe) solution: allowing to create every type of modules available for each weapon using spare parts. Quality of the crafted module is chosen randomly, and you can still improve the modules you get by using the system that's already in the game.

We have ideas about taking the crafting system further, but first we'd like to hear your feedback and understand whether we are moving in the right direction.

New Variation of CNPP Cooling Tower

We wanted to release a new location in Survarium Update 0.60 very much, and that location would be based on the so called Russian Woodpecker. Alas, 3 months is not enough to deliver the content in the quality we wanted. Most likely it will be available with Survarium 0.61 which will hopefully be released in a couple months

But we didn't want to leave you without new content, and since many of you asked to rework CNPP Cooling Tower basing on the PTS version of the location, we decided to do that. We changed the layout of the space under the tower itself, which to our mind made the battles faster and more intense. This new variation will be available in "Slaughter" game mode. But that's not all! We have introduced anomalies to both variations of the location in "Slaughter"!

Updated Supplies Mechanics

After releasing survival skill tree in update 0.59b, we got a lot of feedback, and based on it we decided to rework general gameplay mechanics of using supplies. Now you can toss them out for a short distance instead of placing down. This change affects medkits, bandages and sensors. To throw the supply, press and release the corresponding hotkey.

We are also changing the way supplies affect the character's stamina. Now you lose stamina depending on explosion radius and damage dealt by the supply. Finally, we have fixed situations when supplies dropped under the terrain.

Vepr-12 "Legend" and New Modules

As we already announced, the league shop will receive Vepr-12 "Legend" shotgun with a unique camo. Additionally, we are planning to add a couple new modules, including collimators. And thanks to the new module crafting system you will be able to instantly create these collimators!

Rebalancing Weapons and Equipment

Despite the recent nerfs of assault rifles, they are still one of the best weapons, and certainly the most versatile. We don't want to make them useless, but we also want to increase usability of other weapon types, so in Survarium 0.60 assault rifles will be slightly nerfed

Some sniper rifles will also be changed to decrease effectiveness of quick scoping. Automatic pistols will also be somewhat weakened as we want you to use other side arms as well. Finally, stats of some equipment sets (you must have an idea which ones) will be changed.

At the same time we will make shotguns and SMGs stronger, but not in a way to make them an obvious choice. In general, we expect that these changes overall will make the equipment and weapons more balanced and remove everyone's favourites from the equation. But we don't want to break the balance, so we are making small corrections and expect you will still be able to effectively use your favourite weapons.

Release Date and Other Changes

These are only the biggest among the upcoming changes and improvement. We also fixed annoying bugs with grenades falling under the terrain and sounds playing between rounds in S&D game mode. Also, following your requests, we are adding tier 2 and tier 3 premium equipment to the list of Team Mission rewards.

We will publish the full list of changes in Survarium 0.60 before the update goes live, which should be sometime in the second half of September. So very soon you will be able to check out a new variation of CNPP Cooling Tower, system for crafting modules and other new features.
