Evènement en direct - La Nuit de l’Amalgame

Nous y revoilà : la Nuit de l’Amalgame approche à grands pas, et des évènements terrifiants ont été signalés à travers tout Nouvel-Éden et la Défense du démon. Astrek Association est donc à la recherche d’hommes et de femmes courageux pour mener l’enquête, et est prêt à payer une somme rondelette en échange.

Cet évènement en direct se tiendra du jeudi 22 octobre à 02:00 (heure française) au mardi 4 novembre à 02:00 (heure française). Deux toutes nouvelles rencontres apparaîtront dans le monde au cours de cette période. En complétant ces rencontres trois fois par jour (deux fois la rencontre courte et une fois la rencontre longue), vous recevrez un « jeton-bonbon » spécifique à cet évènement contre lequel des vendeurs spéciaux vous laisseront acquérir des récompenses exclusives géniales. Si vous parvenez à gagner 9 jetons-bonbons (sur les 14 potentiels), vous débloquerez un fait d’arme qui vous fera bénéficier d’un tout nouvel atout. Les deux rencontres en question sont :

Le jeu de passe-tête du cavalier sans tête

    Surveillez votre carte pour guetter les apparitions de cette créature perfide. Une fois que vous aurez repéré le cavalier, mettez-le hors combat, dérobez sa tête, tâchez de rester en vie et coopérez avec vos amis pour obtenir des récompenses.

Les civils effrayés

    Trouvez les civils qui semblent avoir le diable aux trousses et qui crient à l’aide. Soyez héroïque et détruisez les spectres qui les terrorisent, Astrek vous récompensera de votre aide.

Récompenses

Comme nous le mentionnions plus haut, votre mission quotidienne consistera à compléter une fois la rencontre du cavalier sans tête et deux fois la rencontre des civils effrayés, ce qui vous fera obtenir un jeton-bonbon (vous pouvez ainsi en gagner un par jour, après avoir complété trois rencontres). Ces jetons-bonbons sont échangeables auprès de vendeurs spéciaux situés à Copacabana, la Tranchée et la station de recherche de Kanaloa contre un certain nombre de récompenses uniques. Les récompenses disponibles pour cet évènement sont les suivantes :

    L’écusson de citrouille amaltérée
    La peinture spectrale
    Le masque de Pinhead
    Le masque de cavalier fantôme
    Le cavalier sans tête en familier
    La dragée à la citrouille (Objet consommable qui applique un effet terrifiant à votre personnage parmi plusieurs possibles, jusqu’à ce que vous bougiez.)

De plus, en complétant 9 fois la mission quotidienne (sur les 14 jours disponibles au total au cours de l’évènement) vous débloquerez le fait d’arme « Jusqu’au bout de la nuit », ce qui vous permet d’obtenir :

    1 000 crédits
    L’atout « farceur »

      Lorsque vous subissez des dégâts à moins de 50 % de votre santé maximale, vous disparaissez dans un nuage de chauves-souris et devenez invisible pendant cinq secondes. (L'effet de camouflage disparaît si vous attaquez.) Cet effet ne peut être déclenché plus d'une fois toutes les 120 secondes. (2 points d’atout)

PTS Spotlight - Update 1.6

Dans notre mise à en avant du PTS d’aujourd’hui nous allons vous offrons un aperçu du contenu et des différents systèmes qui seront disponibles lors de la mise à jour 1.6. Nous avons ajouté beaucoup de contenu et de mise à jour, incluant le rafraichissement de Sertao, les capacités de niveau 30 à 40 et une toute nouvelle opération « l’agence ARES » ainsi qu’un raid de 10 joueurs complet « Le siège de Dredge ».

Rafraichissement de Sertao

Grâce à la mise à jour 1.6 vous serez à nouveau en mesure d’accéder à la zone de Sertao. Sertao à reçue de nombreuses améliorations, notamment au niveau du rendu visuel de ses points d’intérêts, une refonte du système de Job ARES, où les joueurs doivent maintenant parler à des PNJ spécifiques en ville et d’autres emplacement pour commencer la quête. Aventurez-vous dans le désert et la forêt de Sertao, protéger les habitants et apprenez-en plus sur les mystérieux Elus.

L’histoire continue !

La mise à jour 1.6 fera progresser la trame de l’histoire avec du nouveau contenu narratif, tout en procurant aux joueurs de nouvelles instances et challenges.

« L’agence ARES »

Cette toute nouvelle opération, « l’agence ARES », est maintenant disponible pour tous les joueurs ayants atteints le niveau 35. L’équipe d’ARES-35 se retrouve dans une situation épineuse après avoir tenté de déloger une faction de bandits utilisant une ancienne prison abandonnée comme leur base d’opération. Formez votre escouade et rassemblez vos amis pour triompher de cette opération en équipe !

Le siège de Dredge

Une force d’invasion fait route vers Dredge ! Il faudra plus qu’un simple pilote ARES pour stopper la machine de guerre Elue ! Rassemblez vos compatriotes et préparez-vous pour le raid « siège de Dredge » ! Ce raid, conçu pour 10 joueurs, poussera les joueurs dans leurs derniers retranchements alors qu’ils surpassent leurs limites pour contrer cette terrible menace ! Préparez-vous, qui sait ce qui rôde à la frontière de l’amalgame.

Mise à jour du combat

Le niveau maximal est augmenté à 40 avec cette mise à jour, les joueurs possédants des Rangs d’Elite seront cependant en mesure de les conserver et de continuer l’aventure avec les bonus déjà obtenus.

A mesure que les pilotes progressent dans le nouveau contenu de cette mise à jour, les capacités de leur battleframe continueront d’augmenter, vous offrants de nouvelles possibilités tous les 5 niveaux. Certaines capacités sont d’ancienne capacités remodelées, tandis que d’autres sont complètement inédites !

PTS V.1350 (Update 1.6) Notes

Hello everyone,

We are currently working on updating the PTS to version 1350 (Update 1.6). As this will require some back-end work we need to take the PTS servers offline for a little bit. This downtime is to apply a few extra fixes as well as resetting everyone's current bounties so they won't have any bounties stuck and blocking up their bounty slots.

In the meantime we're posting the notes for you all to read so you have an idea what is coming in with this build.

1.6 Highlights

    The level cap has been increased to level 40.
    Battleframes each have a new HKM and ability available.
    Players may now enter Sertao.
    4 new campaign missions along with a brand new operation "The Ares Team".
    Defense of Dredge raid instance is available.
    Orbital Comm Tower has been updated.
    Jericho has been updated to level 40 requirement.

1.6 Patch Notes

Combat

    Each battleframe will gain one new HKM and ability along the path to level 40.
    Experience requirements to level up have been slightly reduced for levels after the player completes the NPE.

Firecat

    HKM: Fuel Air Bomb (Unlocked at level 35)

      Throw a Fuel Air Bomb that causes a massive explosion at the point of impact after a two second delay, dealing heavy Thermal damage. A sphere of super-heated air is left behind by the explosion, causing additional Thermal damage over time to enemies in the effect radius.

    Burn Jets (Unlocked at level 40)

      Hover in the air, generating a downward shield while you project a burst of flame directly below for the duration of Burn Jets, setting the ground on fire and dealing Thermal damage to enemies in the effect radius. The shield will expire when it takes sufficient damage, or when Burn Jets ends.

Tigerclaw

    HKM: Tether Field (Unlocked at level 35)

      Deploy a Tether Field trap that activates either on impact, or by triggering the HKM a second time while the trap is airborne. Enemies caught in the Tether Field are slowed and tethered to the trap, and take escalating damage over time. The trap explodes when its duration expires or when it is destroyed, damaging all nearby enemies.

    Air Raid (Unlocked at level 40)

      Activate glider wings and drop bombs below you for the duration of Air Raid, dealing Kinetic damage to enemies in the effect radius. Air Raid can only be used while in the air.

Bastion

    HKM: Fortify (Unlocked at level 35)

      Fortify your deployables, instantly repairing them. For the duration of Fortify, all of your deployables deal bonus damage, take reduced damage, and repair health over time.

    Taser Claymore (Unlocked at level 40)

      Deploy a Taser Claymore that explodes when an enemy passes in front of it, dealing Energy damage. Enemies caught in the blast are stunned and become the priority target of any nearby allied turrets.

Electron

    HKM: Electrical Storm (Unlocked at level 35)

      Fire a slow-moving Electrical Storm that stuns and deals Energy damage to all enemies in its path.

    Weapons Crate (Unlocked at level 40)

      Deploy a crate of Particle Cannons that can be equipped by allies. These particle cannons deal Energy damage and knock back enemies in the effect radius.

Mammoth

    HKM: Tremors (Unlocked at level 35)

      Pulse shockwaves for the duration, dealing Kinetic damage to nearby enemies, with a chance to stagger them. Stronger enemies are less likely to be staggered by a shockwave. Shockwave deals increased damage to enemies in contact with the ground.

    Gravity Riposte (Unlocked at level 40)

      Generate a gravity field that grants extreme resistance to damage and diverts nearby projectiles to strike you for the duration of Gravity Riposte. When this ability ends, a missile is launched at each enemy that damaged you while Gravity Riposte was active.

Rhino

    HKM: Dreadfield (Unlocked at level 35)

      Project a field that slows, deals Kinetic damage, and has a chance to inflict Fear to enemies in its effect radius. Each enemy affected by Dreadfield grants you a stacking boost to your Rate of Fire.

    Tractor Beam (Unlocked at level 40)

      Fire a tractor beam that pulls the target towards you, dealing Kinetic damage and slowing that enemy for the duration.

Dragonfly

    HKM: Healing Dome (Unlocked at level 35)

      Project a Healing Dome for the duration, healing allies in the effect radius while providing yourself and any affected allies with bonus life steal on all attacks.

    Rescue Drone (Unlocked at level 40)

      Deploy a medical drone that will attempt to revive a single downed ally.

Recluse

    HKM: Fungal Bloom (Unlocked at level 35)

      Plant a fungus that deploys spore mines. When enemies are nearby, the spore mines detonate, releasing a lingering cloud that blinds and deals Chemical damage to enemies in the effect radius.

    Immuno-Adhesive (Unlocked at level 40)

      Throw a grenade that glues a single target to the impact location and increases their vulnerability to Toxic damage.

Raptor

    HKM: Overload (Unlocked at level 35)

      For the duration of Overload, your signature weapon has improved charge speed and chains damage to enemies near the point of impact. During Overload, all Raptor abilities are empowered with bonus Conduit effects.

    Mark Target (Unlocked at level 40)

      Mark several targets in range for your allies to fire upon. When squad members or nearby allies aim at a marked target, they have greatly improved weapon accuracy and handling.

        Conduit effect: Aiming at a marked target also provides a bonus to critical damage.

Nighthawk

    HKM: Eruption Rounds (Unlocked at level 35)

      Enemies you kill with your signature weapon explode, dealing a percentage of their max health as Thermal damage to enemies in the effect radius.

    Power Shot (Unlocked at level 40)

      Load a Power Shot into your signature weapon, causing your next shot to do greatly improved critical damage.

General

    Changed day-night-cycle to be 75% day and 25% night

Sertao Jobs updated to match Coral Forest style

    The ARES jobs across Sertao have been updated with new locations (in the same fashion that Coral Forest has been updated) as well as adding one new objective types and updating another objective type:

      Area Collect - Players must defeat enemies until an object is dropped on the ground, this object will function similarly to the crashed thumper parts. Players must pick up the part and deliver it to a set location to complete this job type.
      Area NPC Push - Players must escort an NPC through dangerous territory. The NPC will only continue to move as long as players are close by and will stop and either cower or fight when enemies appear.

        Please note: At this point in time the NPCs will be unable to be damaged or killed. This may be reviewed or changed in the future.

Operations

    A brand new operation “The ARES Team” will be available for players at level 35.

Core missions

    Four new core missions are available while progressing through Sertao.

      Mission 17: S.O.S. - Level 33
      Mission 18: Vagrant Dawn (Epic) - Level 35
      Mission 19: Gate Crasher - Level 38
      Mission 20: Razor’s Edge (Epic) - Level 40

        Known issue : Campaign Tokens cannot be acquired from Hardcore missions or Operations.

OCT Update

    OCT has received some updates which include the following:

      Spawns in the satellite guard and drop pod waves have been balanced and tuned to use the proper spawning mechanics (as a result, new Chosen mobs are present!)
      The event tracker has been modified to be more condensed and to improve clarity of the current satellite states.
      If all three satellites are activated, even if target has not been locked, the event timer will pause. This will prevent the situation where the event timer will expire even if the satellites are nearing target lock.
      Added support for the bounty system.

    New Treasure Phase

      After completing OCT players will be awarded with special single use gliders. These gliders allow players to scan the forest and deserts of Sertao for hidden artifacts, salvage and other valuables which are located in Treasure Caches.

        Treasure Caches contain data fragments which can be turned in at OCT for OCT specific rewards or to vendors at the Corporation Headquarters for corporation reputation.

Defense of Dredge

    Players are now able to enter the Defense of Dredge, a 10 Player, level 40 raid mission which is accessible from any mission dropship. Team up with fellow ARES pilots to save the town of Dredge from the encroaching enemy forces.

      Known issue

        Currently if players let the turret generators get defeated twice it will break the encounter preventing progression. This can be avoided by defending the generators fiercely.
        Currently when players reach the rock wall they will not be able to blow it up to progress. This can be avoided by flying up and over the wall through the melding.

Jericho updated to level 40

    Jericho has been updated for max level players (Now level 40). Jericho can be accessed from any of the mission dropships.

      Please note that moving forward Jericho will remain a maximum level challenge.

        Known issue

          Sometimes enemies will become stuck in buildings. We are working on a resolution to this issue, but in the meantime Recluses and other AOE classes should be able to kill enemies that are stuck.

    Memory

      Large memory optimizations which will improve performance in busy areas.
      Potential memory leak fix and optimizations of particle systems.
      Some memory optimizations for 32 bit OS when running at very high texture quality.

    Performance

      More responsive virtual textures. Textures load in a lot faster from local cache, e.g. when you turn around quickly, during character select or in sinvironment.
      Bigger performance improvement in cities, especially with many animated props and monster props.
      Several UI performance improvements across the board.
      Slightly improved load times for particle effects.
      Some performance improvements when loading into a new zone (removed inefficiencies in audio and fx code).
      Improved load times in the character selection screen.

    Bug Fixes

    Battleframes

      Battleframes gained via Elite ranks can now enter the advanced battlelab at level 20.
      The advanced battle lab now has a unique loading screen.
      Players will no longer receive Advanced battleframes from Elite Rank rewards for achetypes they have not reached level 20 on. (Ex. A player who has only leveled a Mammoth to max level will have Accord Assault offered from elite ranks, not Tigerclaw or Firecat)
      Plasma Cannon’s tooltip description will no longer exceed the allowed text areas.
      The Physicist perk will no longer prevent the fusion cannon’s alt fire from working.
      Elite ranks will now display properly on the character select screen.

    Bounties

      The dashboard and activity tracker should now show the correct bounties at the same time.
      Bounties will now require a player to be within 7 levels of the content to receive credit for completion.
      Bounties that require killing set amounts of enemies will now update properly with each kill.
      The Plutocrat, Prospector, Hired gun and Contractor Bounties have been disabled.
      Supporter – The rare and regular versions of Supporter will now require different amounts of ARES assistance tasks to complete.

    Group Bounties

      Watchman bounty can now be properly completed.
      Liberator bounty can now be properly completed.
      Road Warrior can now be properly completed.

    Open World

      Players will now spawn at their closest spawn location instead of showing up in Sunken Harbor, even if they haven’t unlocked it.
      Melding Tornados will no longer path over spawn rooms and spawn creatures inside the safe zones.
      Players can once again fast travel to points of interest.
      Obsolete Elite Chosen Infantry will no longer spawn during the mission “Catch of the Day”.
      Storm Kestrel nests will now spawn a more appropriate (reduced) number of enemies.
      Wandering encounters will no longer spawn in the path of the new player experience.

    Instances

      Jericho will once again allow players to queue for the zone.

        This was an issue with the Jericho servers not being cleaned up upon completion, which would cause the server to fill up with dead/empty Jericho zones.

      Leaving a squad during an instance and starting the same instance solo will no longer progress the solo players as if they are in the squad.
      Accelerate will now display a custom loading screen for players loading in.
      Accelerate – Squads are no longer allowed to place multiple turrets on top of each other.

    ARES Jobs

      “Don’t Sow the Reaper” – Remigio’s text will now play audio for the lines “You helped me out more than you know, you saved my farm. You saved my boys.” And “I ask just one more thing of you. When you’re ready, it looks like I’m gonna need your help getting rid of these cultists once and for all.”

    Itemization

      Security Keys are no longer bound to the player.
      Players will now receive a “Security Key Not Found” message when they attempt to open a Security Crate without a key in their possession.

    User Interface

      Players are now able to leave mouse mode with the ESC button when their cursor is hovering over the claim reward button.
      The player’s XP bar will now switch to the elite rank visuals when playing on a max level advanced frame.
      The “Claim Reward” button will now properly function when a user clicks on it.
      Tutorials – If a player gets into a situation where they are stuck in a tutorial UI, it will reset after 30 seconds allowing them to progress normally.

    Performance

      Fixed a rather frequent crash bug in the particle systems.
      Fixed bug where character texture atlases were not reused properly, causing more memory usage and disk hits.
      Fixed a problem where shaders could go bad, leading to messed up rendering and requiring a ReloadMaterials console command to fix.
      Fixed flickering when switching between pages in the login and character selection/creation screens.
      Fixed bug where certain particle effects could spawn hundreds of lights.
      Fixed issue where character creation icons and the texts were missing.
      Fixed missing blob shadows on some NPCs.
      Fixed missing drop pod effects in mission Icebreaker.
      Fixed minor animation bug in Trespass mission where the character hands were visible for a short time in first person when going to disguise mode.
      Several assorted crash fixes.
